Vision of Victory

"Where there is no vision, the people perish." Proverbs 29:18.

The vision of Victory has five main objectives. Everything we do comes under one of these five main purposes:

WORSHIP - Our first command from God is to love Him with all our heart, soul and mind (Matt.22:37) Ministry to the Lord comes before ministry to people. Our "first love" must be for Jesus.

Praise is a calling given to every believer. "This people have I formed for myself, they shall show forth my praise." (Isaiah 43:21)

The Worship team, choir, special music and worship services all provide avenues to lead us into praise and worship, both as a church and individually.

PRAYER - It is up to the church to pray God’s will into the earth. We are Christ’s ambassadors, and we are his representatives here on the earth. Jesus has given us the authority to release His will on earth through prayer. We come together corporately in united prayer for the needs of His people and to see His Will accomplished.

FELLOWSHIP - In this local expression of the Body of Christ, we know the importance of divine connections with other members of Christ's body for fellowship and fun social times together. Each member of Christ's body has something to give to others which will enhance and strengthen their spiritual walk. Enjoying times of fellowship provide an avenue for those times of refreshing.

TEACHING - Foundational to all that is done at Victory is the teaching of the Word of God. The Word of God builds and equips believers to be and do what God desires. The vision of Victory is to consistently nurture believers until they grow into full maturity.

Our Sunday and mid-week services, tapes, books, special speakers all provide training for the believer for the work of the ministry for the edifying of the body of Christ.

EVANGELISM - "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature." (Mark 16:15) The church is called to proclaim good news, heal the sick, deliver the oppressed and set the captive free. (Luke 4:18)

We, as believers, have the answers to the world’s problems, and we must share Christ. All that we do in worship, prayer, fellowship and teaching is preparation for evangelism. God so loved the world that He gave Jesus....His love has not changed, and we are to go to the unsaved with this message of God’s love.

YOU HAVE A PLACE - There is a place for you at Victory Christian Center. Seek God’s will for your life. He will reveal to you the place you can give and receive in this ministry. Growth always comes from commitment. Set your roots down into this vision. The greater your commitment and dedication, the greater will be your growth and progress.
